How to be CONSISTENT

We start a blog and we post a few articles in a hurry… but to continue…
Hmmmm

📌We start a podcast and record a few episodes in a hurry and we’re excited but to continue nko? Hmmmm….

📌We start a Bible in One year plan and we bubble with excitement for the first two months but to continue oooo… (my table😅😅😅)

📌We start out giving a percentage of our income for the first 3 months but when other bills come, we find excuses to stop…

📌We hit the gym in and “form” fitfam in January but 🤐

📌We pour ourselves into our relationships and marriages when we first set out, but as we become familiar… we stop doing the exciting things that stirred up our initial fire…

I could go on… but I’m sure you get the point.

𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐞𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐦𝐲 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐘 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐬:

1. Have a clear WHY and place a picture of the desired outcome in a place you can see it REGULARLY.

2. Place it in your DAILY or WEEKLY scheduled. You’re not committed to it until you’ve scheduled it.

3. Connect it to an activity you’re already committed to. Smith Wigglesworth used to say “NO BIBLE, NO BREAD” It meant he didn’t eat unto he read his Bible.

I rarely get off my bed without reading my first portion of the Bible. Sometimes, I complete it in the loo🤦🏼🤭😩 (talk about dumping some revelation as I do some other dumping😳)

4. Systemize it. If you want to give to a certain amount to church , family members or invest in a project, set a direct debit on your account. Easy. That way you don’t have to debate or get into the emotional quagmire of making that decision over and over.

5. Reward yourself for hitting your targets. Buy yourself something nice.

6. Get Accountability.
Pay someone to help you stay accountable or pay a fine for falling behind.

7. Join a growth community like @globalgreatness_ to ensure you have voices of wisdom in your ears consistently till you’re able to generate sufficient inner motivation and momentum to run on.

TELL ME… in what areas have you struggled with CONSISTENCY?

Which of these 7 suggestions will you apply.
