Let us remember our brothers and sisters in AFGHANISTAN whose hearts are weary from the thunderclap of terror and waves of worry.

Let us pray for those whose hearts beat louder than drums, whose throats are too sore to sing and whose tongue are patched from days of crying.

Those who’ve had nothing to drink for days, other than tears.

Let us pray for those who are too tired to pray, too fearful to fight and too traumatized to think of the next Bible verse.

Let us ask for the light and love of Christ to shine and shape their thoughts, for the ministry of the Holy Spirit to heal and help, for strength to surge through broken hearts and distraught lives.
